Here's another story of even more "Jews" coming home - to Judaism (in Israel):

One year after the special rabbinical conversion courts were transferred to the Prime Minister's Office, a large number of converts (to Judaism) has been reported. Rabbi Druckman, the director of conversion affairs in the Prime Minister's Office, reports that one year after Prime Minister Ariel Sharon authorized him to sign conversion certificates, he has overseen the issuance of approximately 5,800 certificates, of which approximately 5,360 were in the first nine months of 2005 (as opposed to 3,599 certificates which were issued in all of 2004).

In spite of all the challenges facing the Jewish People, there are still many who are choosing to join our ranks... we should keep that in mind entering this new year - that it is a privilege to be a member of the Jewish People, as well as to be able to live as sovereign in the Land of Israel.
